You are the rim of God's mouth,
resting upon an eternity of azure.
Full of tranquilizing power;
the shelter in which Heaven hides.
The scent of your breezes comforting.
Making man feel at home under your vast roof
full of white kisses.
Dreamers gaze into them, desiring to fall in.
Drowning in the lushness of your being
in the hopes of attaining your abysmal peace.

This is really pretty. The last line is very interesting--What do you mean by "Abysmal peace"? It's a really great poem, I just wish it had been a little longer!

ah the vastness of the sky, it can be a calm place or a violent place, but beautiful all the same, a good poem

Very lovely wording. So soft in feel, yet full of great images.
I enjoyed this.
