Molested and beaten as a child,
growing up he was kind of wild.
Always unruly, loud and obscene,
tortured pets till he was fourteen.
Then something happened, he joined a gang,
looting, robbing, killing, the bullets sang.
Drug abuse rampant, Alcohol was his friend,
to be human, he couldn't even pretend.
Then one night, late and drunk,
he cornered a girl, she had some spunk.
Fought tooth and nail the rape he had planned,
broke both her legs so she couldnt stand.
Took her in an alley, had his way with her,
for this sickness there is no cure.
Beat her when she whimpered, spit in her face,
told her he put her in her place.
The police found her body late the next day,
carved up with knife wounds behind the cafe.
She had her revenge, nails had gathered DNA,
when the trial came, he had nothing to say.
Sentenced to life, without possibility of parole,
shanked in the shower, God have mercy on his soul.
He needed killin.

There is way too much of this type of crap going on in this world. I have no tolerance for offenders of this kind. We should not have to pay taxes so they can live out their life in prison. I wish they ALL get what they deserve in just this way...Scott

Last line. Nope.
But the rest, great. It's not so much A REASON, but it is ((supposedly)) THE reason that people commit this sort of act - because they were abused as a child. Somehow, personally, I believe that it's quickly becoming an excuse for many and it's sad that because of them, others with true reason behind their acts aren't getting help they could be.
Anyway, enough rambling!
I'm actually glad to see it from his side only, well done.

This is a very sad thing that plagues our country. It doesn't happen or not as much as here in U.S. in other countries. There is something that needs a lot of work in our culture. Even if it's drastic, it's needed.

The thing is though, they do get what they deserve, people don't take kindly to child abusers, they really don't. Even the thugs and stuff in prison, most of them have children adn will beat the living daylights out of child molesterers/abusers. I cannot stand them. They all eventually trip up and get their just desserts. very well penned tho, o so powerful. Strong emotions, strong words. well done.... really well done. You're an awesome person, an awesome poet. keep it up
