Once
the circle is complete
there is no beginning and no end
like the earth and the sun reflecting nature,
love with the unabashed blazing truth that is the
purest heart of the purest beauty, like the gentler moon,
the effervescent light of stars, turning, circling empyrean
sphere of silently revolving time... we ourselves revolve
in this memory of time - and love remains where the
imprint of love has touched and seen, that is eternity
- love is our greatest gift, our greatest comfort
- so may your hearts touch and your souls
entwine and may your lives together
be an everlasting
joy

First, I really liked how it was in the shape. It definitely caugh my attention. It was a very nice piece, and I think it had a lot of emotion. I agree with someone below who said it would be excellent as a wedding vow, or something. It's beautiful. You have a gift! Keep writing please [=

Sounds like you have read some of myrataal's work on love. This is written for someone else's marraige; and reflects to me that marraige is for the larger group, the community. Building block of society.

No, I haven't heard of myrataal... It was written, or adapted from another poem I wrote a while ago, for my best friend's wedding in August this year...
Edit... aha, found her! Interesting lady

"Once the circle is complete there is no beginning and no end." How can I refuse the beauty of that? This is a lovely piece that is profuse in wisdom. Do you know that you've solved what to many is a difficult puzzle? Love. Many people don't have definition for that, but you've weaved it with plain truth and the next thing I know I'm in an "aha moment." Simply beautiful.
"and love remains where the imprint of love has touched and seen, that is eternity." that is my favorite.
i was at first expecting that this was some kind of a vow, but the last four lines gave away that there's a third person speaking. i thought it would be a very powerful piece to recite by a minister, a witness or a parent to a couple being wed.
as to the form, im not a form savvy though i appreciate them and admire those who are into it. i've seen related stuff before like the one called diamond, which i think follows certain meter. but whether this adheres to certain form or not, the layout, to me, made the piece more interesting.
thank you for sharing this.

This is so sweet, I could see people using this in their wedding ceremony. Your word choice is excellent and it is just so cute. Thank you for sharing.
