With one streetlight
Fashing vigorously
Trying to break out of this silence
Without causing more damage
To your already broken soul
Seeing figures
Dancing down this empty street
The moon reflecting off the puddles of your tears
Casting shadows on the ground
Let's give the kids a show
A chill runs up your back
You turn around to glare with disgrace
At a world you thought you knew
You had a plan
And then the tide came in

With ignorance && beauty
This world isn't the same anymore
Gazing up at the sun
