Thank You, Jesus for laying down Your life for me.
Me, a sinner who fails You a lot, who is not worthy.
Why you are so patient with me, I do not understand.
I am just thankful that You are.
When life isn't good and I want to give up,
You always send me what I need to draw me back to you.
Without your healing, loving touch I would not be here.
On death's door twice I stood, but You brought me back again.
Jesus, I really do love you, but it was You who first loved me.

I know this isn't very poetic, I haven't been feeling well the last few days. I just wanted to give Jesus some praise. For I know without Him I wouldn't be here today.

we are all sinners my friend that is why we have the chance to repent though baptism and to renew our promis through the sacrement. we were not made to be perfect but were born to have free will, for no parent wants a child that only says "i love you " beacause they are made to, if we as mere people can forgive our children when they do wrong and truly repent imagine how our our saviour smiles as we tell him that we are truly sorry, the picture is amazingly beautiful and this is a wonderful inspiring poem, thank you for sharing this with us

for the Gold, but more for the chance to praise Jesus for all He has done for me and all He will do for me. I had a very long hard day today and to sit down to check things and find this was a sweet breath of fresh air.
