This cage,
this prison
has trapped not just me
but my body and soul inside.
No where to turn
and nowhere to go
while these walls close
on all sides.
The air starts to dwindle
as I’m left here to die,
no sound or light
can be seen or heard.
This world I created
has come down upon me
as the ones who I’ve loved
disappear forever.
