My Paper Mates

Dear inspiring ink and pad- Alas! we meet again.
A panacea for my sorrows you have been
time and time again.

Only my pen and paper can decipher the complexities that
confuse my crowded cerebral cortex
and convert them in artful prose.

The arousing nakedness of a blank page is all
me and this eager pen need to stroke
incredibly inspiring inscriptions. Inscriptions so
insightful that even the author amazes in awe.

The secreted ink that spills forth on this page
has quelled my loneliness in this loveless life.
Me, this pen and this paper share a bond so close...
it's almost incestuous!

It's a tri-part relationship so deep that
no pulsating organ could explore such depths.
At the end of the day when heartaches emerge
the "PENAGE TWA" love affair endures.

This is how much my writings mean to me...
after all, we're Paper Mates.

    Cute

I certainly can relate to the second stanza!
Entire poem is both humorous and serious.
"tri-band"? Do you mean the same as 'tri-part'?
Nice play on words with names of pens.
