I sometimes wonder if things are better off this way
Leaving my thoughts in my head never saying what I want to say
But then again I'm not sure I could've made myself stay
Even if I was asked not to turn and walk away
The things you said and in the end the things you did
Won't ever make up for the feelings that you hid
I tried to win your heart by making the highest bid
But you shunned me no matter what I ever did
So the time has finally come for me to give up on you
Because not matter what I ever I may try to do
You always send me away, this you know is true,
And now because of this I've given up hope for you
