To make me dream a dream so brief
To blow me out thy candle theif
At once where life did wander free
Why did you beguile such as me?
I did once play a merry tune
And seek the truth in tarot and rune
And you stole away my time
All my song and all my rhyme
Life is but an hour to you
You who made me proud and true
And all I am is but a flicker
In your imagination hither
Spare me not this wondrous time
Where I shall live and sing and rhyme
For a life yes I have got
It's better than ever having not
And if my life be a dream I pray
That I would dream my life away
Once born I weep a tear and cry
And scream my lungs out till I die

OUTSTANDING!!!!!
OUTSTANDING!!!! Shirl, your work is dark, deep, and powerful. I love it. I am attracted to it. This piece here, is just another example of why I think you are the best darkwriter on here. It is just a wonderful wonderful piece of work.
Well done for this.
Much love
Wayne Leon
