The Light of Dawn

If the earth would cease to turn
As well the moon stood still
Finally the sun would sit
Upon my window sill

And with my hand i reach it out
To touch the shining rays
Full knowing that to touch the sun
Might set my soul ablaze

I pull my bones back hastily
To find that they now are gone
But to find myself the sun's caress
Gives me the light of dawn

This makes me want to rip your clothes off of you and ravage your body. I loved the imagery. The thought of the "sun on the window sill" just kinda sparked a place in my mind for the rest of the poem. Really good
