Rosie Ring Revisited
Let us form a ring around the one with the red rosy rash.
Posies will protect us all, so in each pocket keep a stash.
We will try to burn the victims. Ashes, ashes through the town.
Stlill the plague spreads to us all and soon enough we all fall down.

Oh Morbid!! all those sweet little children singing about the plague ... oh well why not what does a kid care anyway. Loved your retelling of one of the most disturbing nursery rhymes to come down the pike.

A lot of them
were topical or morbid in their original renditions. Check out Georgie Porgie.

Thanks.
I have researched a lot of stuff like this. I think the reason a lot of people find it so hard to set a course to where they should be going is that they have no idea where we've been. Not knowing history they just repeat old mistakes.

this is great. you tell us what the old school yard song is about. you do not spare the truth and yet you are not harsh with you words. good luck with the contest and pen on.

Thanks.
Not sparing the truth is what most commonly gets me in trouble.
