So Dear My Mother's Killer:

So Dear my mother's killer:

I just wanted you to know,
That I miss her
Oh, how so!

There's not a day that's passed by,
Where my anger hasn't grown inside
My, how I cry.

You've taken her away, to where I don't know,
Oh bring her back I say
But I know God won't.

I really did despise you, I won't tell lies,
I couldn't stand the trial
But then I saw the look in your eyes.

I really didn't understand,
That man before me
looked sorry, troubled, sad.

So dear my mother's killer:

I just wanted you to know,
That before you face that electric chair
I have forgiven your soul.

    Takes my breath!

You have put so much emotion and imagery into your write. It should be printed and placed where all can see. The Creator is the final judge and jury but you released a burden (hate)that you could never carry!..( if the story is true,if not then you spoke of it very well.) Blessings always!

This is a very powerful poem with an incredible message of forgiveness. I hope you did not really lose your mother...but if you did...it is awesome that you can be set free from a bitterness of soul.

    These lines are incredible:

"I just wanted you to know,
That before you face that electric chair
    I have forgiven your soul."
