    I have to admit you spread yoyurself all over with this Haiku and well you did quite an extra ordinary job too. any ways you have it all a little kid basiclaly playing baseball say for sake of argument at a Wigley like field and well you have the say hole in the fece behind the trash area which the kid sneeked into and of course this was all about what a kid did while playing ball on his own playground. any ways maybe I was all over the palce but tis where I went with this haiku. any ways a very nice Haiku and keep up the good work n good luck

    I liked it on levels

    glad you signed up too

    this does evoke images, even superimposed ones of context.

    yet the title's trail is not followed fully, except with how this form doesn't have to have grass etcetera; and your piece is obliviously looking by that possibly to objects of events there.

    it has obvious connection for the distraction, but I don't know if the judge gave options but rather package requirements... of yard show through season and imagery it seems. maybe you're implying it's a sport month that brings memories upon such related observations.

    Interesting Haiku - very kempt and simple but the words are fluent and really just flow nicely through.
