What is the price of a life?

Do we have a duty beyond enforcing the law just to say one person's concept of justice was served? Is the court there to see all are treated equal or just to dispense the letter of the law?

What is served by not hearing all the facts, nor caring beyond deciding the process completed a function?  We place our trust and hope that those who rule will have a heart and a mind with reason to treat each person as in individual.

We who write these words stand in support of respect for all life.  Humbly offering out thoughts for one in need.  Praying above all that justice and mercy never lose the capacity to see each human heart as more than a number.

Hoping above all by lifting our voices it speaks in harmony that this one being, already is wounded and needs repair, not more harshness.  So we simply request that he be given a chance for help instead of punishment.  A chance to let this spirit have the opportunity to get the type of rehabilitation that will restore and not scar.

Trusting that beneath the robes of Jurist Prudence there are parents who will do no less for their child if the situation was difference.  Asking only for compassion, which will be far easier to give than more profitable than taking one who in a prison cell will only get worse.

Thank you so much my dear friend. I can not tell you how much this means to me or how much I appreciate it...He is my life and a wonderful person, just damaged and needing help...sometimes we just can do it alone and need help to stop the self destruct...
    Love and Blessings,
    Kim
