It's funny how you love her,
That you kiss her shell.
And whisper sugarcoated lies into her case,
Funny how it secures her,
In your able bodied strength.
It's funny, how you look at her,
Dancing eyes that twinkle within the sunlight.
Appraising your property with the finest glance.
Funny how you look through her,
And stare at the reflection of her armor.
It's funny how you touch her,
Like precious gold that glitters.
With all the falseness,
Of the fools that sift for it.
Funny, how you graze her casing with fickle fingertips,
That grasp for some form of truth.
Funny, how you love her,
With the tainted lips and evaluating eyes.
Funny how you stroke her sheild,
With the same gripping fingertips.
It's funny, that I love my egg.

BRAVO
This seems very metaphoric to me. It is clever, serious, yet at the end a little comical.
BRAVO!
