I, too, have a son who is bi-polar who is in trouble and doing time. My heart goes out to you and your son. My son just turned seventeen. He hasn't been officially diagnosed as bi-polar because he won't cooperate. I'm trying to accept the fact that he has a mind and makes his own choices. I cannot be responsible any more. I hope the officials where you live will wake up and help this child. He should be protected from himself.
I pray for the two of you. Please don't worry about giving me any points or trophy. I feel a kindred spirit with you.

Thank you so much for your love and support...he has fought so many mental health issues, only takes his med's when he feels like it, etc. They really think they know it all, but they are young and have no idea...I wish you the best for you and your son...Hope he gets help before it is too late...are government does not care about that or addiction...just warehouse them to jail.
Best to you both.
Blessings,
Kim

Only those who know what this disease is all about know what you and others like you are going through. IT is not easy living with anyone who has this, they can't even live with themselves, but make life miserable for themselves and all around. Medication can help.
