Take all the time you need
In life as you proceed
Just linger here a while
Live each step of every mile
Our world’s history is led
By memories of the dead
No need to rush with your goodbye -
Why the frantic haste to die?
Beyond this road of daily strife
Lies the “other side” of life
Take all the time you need
Every hour as you proceed
We know art and soul will only flow
As our stories are made and told...

You know I think I may have liked it before... but without the previous version to compare it with I can't quite say. I remember it feeling more natural.

Why are we always in a rush!
Life is so short and we never take time out to hug what is beautiful.

Too mnay of us don't stop long enough to nitice what goes on around us, you tell us that each step is to be savored, a nice thought if we can make it happen. Love, C

I liked this one. It was different than a lot of the other entries and rhymes very nicely. I like the thoughts of this and the middle couplet.
Thanks for entering!
