Haunting You

I am the ghost that haunts your mind.

The creature that keeps you up at night.

I am the monster hiding in your closet.

The goblin under your bed.

I am all these things that you make me out to be,

because I am the person who scares you most.

The one you can’t get out of your mind.

For one reason or another,

whether it’s for love or hate,

you think about me constantly.
