"Blamer's Well"

When anger flames
And fault is mine
I place the blame
Far from my mind
And hide my shame
where I can’t tell.
I place it in the Blamer’s Well
Where all my hate and anger goes
And so the blame it grows and grows
And should a passerby fall in
They’d drown in all the blame within.
So dark and deep has sunk the well
How long it’s festered who can tell.
Will nothing ever dry this well?

Author notes

There was a contest based on titles and "Blamer's well" was one of them I just never got around to writing for it at the time. But here it is now, this was inspired by the title. I wish I could find that contest. Thanks whoever held it though!

    Excellent tempo,
    deep meaning,

    very nice.
The idea that makes up the work was was well thought out and quite visual actually.

Interesting! I really like the rhyme scheme and layout of the poem. It was both very philiosophical and witty! I enjoyed reading it. Keep up the great work.
