Swallowing my Sunberry

'The berry of the sun has passed her lips
no more to sit and watch, but now to partake
she is, in every second, becoming younger
and being transformed into the likeness of a star'

Explanation: If you have ever read The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C. S. Lewis, there is a part in which the characters come to the edge of the world and find a fallen star that has taken on the appearance of a human until he can once again go back into the heavens.  Each morning this star eats a sunberry and by doing becomes younger (instead of older) everyday.  Though the characters have joy in seeing him do this, they themselves are barred from experiencing the sunberry or throwing off their earthly forms because they still have a duty to fulfill on earth.  I suppose you could say I'm fulfilling my duty and when it is done I will gladly eat my sunberry. ; )

Author notes

Once. (and because no word should be left alone)...upon a sunny day a cat took a nap. Cat's are lucky, what more can be said?
