I walk through empty halls;
once so full of life
and laughter.
Now so cold and empty.
I look through ruined windows;
at the courtyard once so bright
and beautiful.
Now full of broken glass and rubble.
I walk through collapsing doorways;
once so proud and strong,
almost inpentirable.
Now collapsing and runined.
I walk through the ruined castle;
once so full of life;
but now so empty.
All were murdered in one fell swoop.
Yet I remain in the place of darkness
wandering the empty halls;
my gown trailing behind me.
A reminder of treachery.
