New Shade of Red

Here he comes again
Hand raised in rage

Her eyes scream no
But the pleas go unheard

His hand lowers with power
Creating a whole new shade of red

Her face left blemished
His work is finished

He has left her to figure out
How to cover this days act of love

His strength is growing
This red is deep

She just triggered him
He'll apologize tomorrow

He'll love her without his fists
Someday
