    If there's one thing I've learned, it's that parents will always see their children as little kids. I'm 25 and my parents still see me as their little baby. Bravo on giving us something that is so real! You did wonderfully!

    very true but ya no u hv to tell ur 'rents sooner or later. better now than when your 18 and you end up goin off out of nowhere. at least if u talk to them now they'll no where you're comin from in the end when you're ready to go off by yourself.

    very nice this situation happens to us all I am afraid when parents go back on their word becasue they forget or they don't know how to react to something.
    I love the theme of just listen very poinient message to any reader that this is all the child persona wants and the list of what she/he doesn't want is clear.

    I also like the chosen format, it reminds me of a stream of conciousness where the mind thinks in short sharp snippets of thought.
