This is a great way to depict the closing of the gap between a person and their aspirations. That took creativity and inspiration. If you want to you could improve the third line's grammar a little. Try saying it a little differently!
This is a good poem even for a native English speaker!
I have Spanish as a second language and I wish I were this fluent!LOL

wow Pink. why have you not ever posted before?Your writes are awesome my friend.I see so much talent, its like you have been writting for years!I am going to put you down as one of my favorites,because you have so much talent and you are a real pleasure to read.I loved the whole poem, and you say you are still working on it? i dont know how you could improve it any better, i see no faults in its story, and the visuals are there, as is the message it conveys.I wouldnt touch it, just leave it how it is,but then thats only my oppinion and i am no expert lol.
