While laying in my hammock one day
I focused on the wind
I tried something I'd never before
and behold my soul had grinned.
I asked the wind a question
I did seek and then I found
That the wind, it hears my wishes
and answers with soft sound
My query was to find out if God
could use invisible breeze
to have a conversation
and reply to all my plea's
My heart was beating furiously
I found what I was looking for
There was no denying that God was closer
than I'd ever felt before
The answers were not human words
or writing in the sky
Instead the wind's intensity
changed with each of my questions, 'Why?'
I knew there must have been a way
for God to talk to me
Yes, he had used the wind of course
Just try it and you'll see.
