still needs a title?

frozen music
sounds and colours mixing
in a beautiful symphony of
      feeling;

blood red violins
    ebony piano keys

perfectly still

silence humming off their edges,
    sharp and defined againt the smoke & shadows

waiting
    anticipating,

a stranger's touch
to bring them back to life;

to release them again
let them run [poetically] rampant

destroying the silence

    i liked it alot.
    the emotion the details, but there was just one thing.
    the way you described the colors red and black, i think it was "blood-red" and "ebony".
    i've heard those terms before.
    it would have had a much better feel if you had used different color descriptions.

    thanks for entering.
    and good luck.

    this is a wonderful poem, so far you are the only one to describe sounds to the deaf. Very well done. It holds so much emotion and one can really get the feeling of what kind of sounds are flowing around. Great job and good luck.

    What a great write. This poem scans perfectly, without feeling forced. The rhymes are clean. The grammar is straightforward and conversational. And all of that comes together to put forward a powerful message. All in all this made for a great read. I hope you keep writing such powerful poetry, and I look forward to reaading more from you. Excellent work.
