The weeping willow only cries for those
Who understand her pain
Here i lay beneath her branches
As she keeps calling my name
She cries
Do you know what it's like
To be alone and in pain
Do you know what it's like
To hurt inside out then back in again
You can walk you can feel
You're the only on who hears my cry
But it can't be hard to be you
Do you know what it's like
I'm getting tired of hearing her weep
So I turn the wind up high
And her words float to my ear
and connect to me inside
I feel a hand streak my face
But no one is there
I hear her cry in the wind
As it blows my hair
Do you know what it's like
To be alone and in pain
Do you know what it's like
To hurt inside out then back in again
You can walk you can feel
Your the only one who hears my cry
How hard is it to be you?
Do you know what it's like
I know what it's like
I've been alone and in pain
I know what it's like
I hurt inside out then back in again
I can be broken i can cry
So yes
I know what it's like
Author notes
