Cobalt sky at midnight,
moon, an ewer of milk
spilling from the stars
in crystalline delight.
Earth below, a blanket
spread over the
recalcitrant scene.

Ahhh, big words. he he Just kidding. But I did have to look up recalcitrant. That one got me. I loved your use of punctuation because it added instead of deducting from your write (which usually happens when I use punctuation). Your imagery is breathtaking and to be honest, you inspired a write of my own. I haven't posted it yet but I'll get around to it soon after it has some editing done to it. Thanks for entering and best of luck in the contest!
