Oh sentinel of blackened skies,
I'm charmed by your saffron glow.
Your silhouette of ancient depths
are cast upon the night.
It fills my soul with egyptian
dialogue's of enlightenment.
As ephiphanies of mystic rulers
whisper in echoe's of truth.
Summoning me back into time
along the niles of ecstasy.
Laying prostrate on plush green
grass of the gods.
As earth-toned creatures of feminine
magnificence indulge my delight.
Saturating my palate with ripen pomegranates,
exuding the ambrosial elixirs of desire.
I'm tranformed within the metaphor's of antiquity.
As I bask under a florescent moonlight,
inside the royal paradigms of infinity.

Excellent poem! Loved the flow and imagery, and how it takes the reader away, to a place of intrigue that you paint with your words.

This is amazing...
"As earth-toned creatures of feminine
magnificence indulge my delight.
Saturating my palate with ripen pomegranates,
exuding the ambrosial elixirs of desire."
So very beautiful...

Ohmy...very nice..yep..I love the Eygptian theme..though, you'll probably be haunted by the capitalizing-Proper-Nouns-Ghost...at he very least, you'll probably get pink eye...

This is a nice piece. Fix those abominations, and it will be excellent
I'll still give ya three clappies, just because the imagery was superb!
Peace,
Jin

This comment in the style of Amirage:
"this reminds me of Rumi... the graceful flow and brings pictures of the night and the Nile, you have captured an eastern spirit in this writing... lovely poem..."
