As I look into the sky
I see the softer side of night
The tangerine autumn moon
Glowing oh so bright
When I was growing up
We called it a harvest moon
Songs so sweetly sung
Each with a lovely tune
In the softer side of night
Gentle breezes blow
See blossoms bloom so bright
Giving love a brighter glow

I love how you blended love with the beauty of nature:
"In the softer side of night
Gentle breezes blow
See blossoms bloom so bright
Giving love a brighter glow"
lovely rhyme as well!

Absolute beauty. I too love that side of night...nights when one could be outside and really live in the night.
Just beautiful and well-written.

Comment in the style of Danna Hobart:
"Rhyme is not my favorite form but I have to admit this one is really good, it has a soft quality that brings out the message of the beauty nature and the feeling of night...well done..."
