Shake a Child: I'll Shake You

I've taken many lives;
            (in my mind)
          beaten, bruised,
          and shaken the souls,

until death come:
          carries them cold

to the labyrinth,
          of inexhaustible scourge.

Author notes

Prompt: one single thought

This is my thoughts on child abuse. The many who abuse children for the sake of their parents doing it to them. I was abuse, severly, as a child, and would never put a child in harms way cause of it. Just a thought.
