You told me you'd always be here for me,
through it all, the laughter and the tears.
You promised me that I'd never be alone again,
that I'd never have to go through anything alone again.
So far you've kept your promises big and small,
well up until recently that is.
I started crying a little more than I used to,
and you were no longer there for me to talk to.
You ask me why I cry so much lately,
I tell you it's the only way I know to deal with stress.
You ask how could my life possibly be so stressful,
when I explain you just say I'm too negitive.
I am so lost, hurt, and confused,
without you close by my side.
I just don't know what to do anymore,
I guess I'm gonna have to pull my mask back out.
I don't want to have to hide myself from you,
but I'll do anything to prevent losing you.
I'm going crazy not talking to you as much as before,
so this mask is my new plan of action.

We were engaged 11 whole days! Ring and all!

This is really a good poem. I like the imagery throughout. I talk to the Lord and read His word. Without Him I couldn't make it through a single day.
