Perhaps we all wear a mask, just to hide us from the glare,
To make us all invisible from those who would stare
Free from suspicion, now we join the masquerade
With many to mingle, yet a bond rarely made.
And yet while these social masks never thin,
Our faces distort to permanent grin...
Becoming those clowns, we once adored
Sure you entertain them now, but how long for?
Please tell me what you think
