Meso Mesopotamia.3500BC.where Susa arose as a great city of the Elamites and Ashan ..thus biblical tales of Canaanites , Solomon, Babylonians and defeated the Elamites,,crushing Susa ..in thick layer of ashes,then was reborn till Assurbanipal ruler of Assyria,
tombs were desecrated ending the Elamite kingdom
in 627BC.Later in 331 BC under Alexander the great, it became a trade center..today are intriguing clusters of hillocks...
