You lace my dreams with lovliness
And each moment the sun ascends
To the beauteous void above us

Where the shadows hung auspiciously

Let us build upon this glory
Whilst the sun still illuminates the sky
Over-looking our embrace
I can't recall a time
When my heart swelled with such vivacity
And when the sun descends
Behind the hills...
Don't let go
But she's such a comely girl to you
And I hope she means the world
Lord knows that if you smile
I could breathe perfume scented air
And I'll sit here amongst the rose petals
As the sun sets on this perfect day
And I watch you as you don't turn back
To meet her in the final moments of the day
I don't know what this means to you
Or if my tears are all in vain
But as you slowly vanished, I breathed
"I'm in love with you"
... There are no stars in this night sky

Beautifully written. Sometimes we have to let people go and if we are lucky in enough they come to us. I know I did the same thing you did and he came to me. Loved the imagery and use of words. Good Luck in the contes.
