Cynical laughter plays over and over again
The broken record never ends
A cruel smirk upon those detested
Look away they might
My cares have not interest in them
Hot prickly pears dance under my skin
He has arrived
He smiles at people and frowns at others
I stay back nervous too hot to cool
Missing out I probably am
My back turned to those needed
A cold shoulder to not just you but all
About people are my musings
Bombs ticking alarms ringing the cogs turning
The human race I think deserves not life
But what to do?
I am merely human
One human out of many can never make a difference
Unless their position is of great power
But me, I’m not it one so what does it matter?
