The silence is deafening
Blank screen before me
I’ve begged it to speak
But the words don’t come
Punishing me
For stepping over that line
Punishing me
for caring too much
This heart feels empty
My words seem empty
The screen is empty
Oh how I miss you…

The title is effective both as an introduction and part and parcel of the poem. I see you used blue font to compound the blue feelings portrayed. Indeed silence can say much more than any amount of words. The poetess conveys well the emotional vacuum of feeling empty. Congratulations on the Honourable Mention. Well done.

Wow. Strongly heart-touching, this really hit me hard as I have felt these emotions.

You have penned a beautiful pooem. I know the feeling your words say. Many times I sit here and miss a dear friend because they are not here. Great Write. Take care, Sandy

Good title. Good use of the metaphor.
Metaphor are used here:

My words seem empty
