So this isn't a fantastic present
Like fire was to man
And I'll be truely honest
This poem wasn't planned
I wanted to let you know
You're a very special friend
And it took my fifteen minutes
To get these words penned
I hope your birthday's great
Along with each one after
And always keep your life
Filled with lots of laughter

I wrote this for my friend Sonya literally fifteen minutes before I left for her party. I think that it's the quickest I've ever written a poem, ecspecailly one this good.
