A Little Poem

I wrote a little poem
to show I love you so
but so hungry was my tummy
that I really had to go!

So I wrote a little poem
for my favorite little mommy
(and by little I mean short
        not the other little sort).

I would write of heartfelt moments
of the things to make you cry
but the remedy for sorrow
is of laughter not of sighs!

This isn't supposed to be a serious attempt at poetry. I was just a fun little childish thing I wrote for my mom on her birthday to show her I'm still her little girl ^-^

    This is a really cute little piece of poetry my friend. Iam sure your Mom enjoyed it as I know as a Mom I would enjoy a poem my child wrote for me as well. Great work.
