I remember the many hears of solo Valentines Days,
I remember the tears cruel and heartless days.
I remember longing for a hand to hold,
A warming blanket in sorrow’s cold.
I remember wishing upon the shooting star,
Wondering, thinking where you are.
I remember the frown that consumed my smile,
Walking down the class room isle.
I remember despising hearts and love,
Hating the beauty of love’s white dove.
I remember shying my face from romantic pairs,
How I cried those lasting tears.
I remember everything that I hate,
Funny how romance is now my fate.
I, the one that I despised,
Yet here I sit romanticized.
