The Messiah

The chosen One, who paid the price
For a ransom it took, at what sacrifice?
He taught us the ultimate power of love
Which came from God His father above
He was betrayed, even then by the Judas kiss
And today is still betrayed by the Antichrist
When we arise in the morning, do we observe Gods Might
In the air we breathe, the birds taking flight
Do you read your bible each and every day
Or is it lying dusty in the closet, forgotton out of the way?
Do you only remember Him when the Holidays are here
Or when it's convenient, when you're reminded with a tear
Of grief perhaps when a loved one dies,
For He is always there when He hears your cries
Time is of the essence each and every day
For our Lord Jesus Christ to kneel and pray
Remember what He did, for us all to have life
That we may live forever, in a Paradise without strife
No more tears, no more pain
The Messiah gave His life, Was it all in vain?

Great message and very nice rhyming. There are a few tiny edits:
    l.4 His
    l.10 forgotten
    l.12 it's and you're
l.20 should the comma be a period?
Also, I think this would be technically better with end line punctuation throughout as you did in l.2.
Thank you for this entry in our contest.
