Lost within the foliage.
Trying to find my way.
Nothing but a large maze.
Not an easy enigma to solve.
The forest grows thicker.
Fog moves in clouding the path.
What is the meaning of being here?
To live, grow old and then to just die?
Who will guide me to the road?
The trail overgrown, which direction now?

Your poem paints a familiar dilemma and you pose some very interesting questions, what do you suppose are the answers or are there any that fits all?
good write thanks for entering and good luck in the contest

The picture is perfect, and though it probably wasnt intentional your pyramid shaped layout is definately a highlight. Overall the poem has a nice feel to it. I feel as if i can see the imagery of your words through a scope. Well done.

Very good. Always step away from the normal way you would want to write and branch out (no pun intended) This was well written. Thanks for sharing ~ Mykeeee

deep...the answer lies in living one day at a time. Enjoy the moments that's what matters.

Yes, the trail is overgrown, littered with lost souls. But everyone has to find their own way, for that's the way it was meant to be. Struggle through the foliage, and never stop trying, and someday you will find the way.
Life sometimes seems pointless, but if we persevere, we will find some meaning. Look for shadows among the trees, and always keep walking, maybe the shadows can help you.
Love, Brazos
