Milky Way on Words

Cold and iced, her frosted lips
break out the pen and paper
Her thorough words and mishaps
Life has taken her away
Far off into a world that
her mind has made just for her

She sits on milky-white stars
that blaze with ever essence
Like the sky, she blankets us
Sweet and salty, her coating disperses
Glowing with innocent perfection
She shows me where words matter

and traps me in between the lines.
