I walk along the shoreline of life
Behind me, there are footprints left behind
A sign each step taken, relics of deeds
Stories and memories for someone else to find
The waves of time come crashing in
slowly washing old footprints away
Days of the past are no more
There is only today
Looking forward into the vast space
I cannot see the end
I walk foward on a path of endless possiblities
Awaiting life as it approaches around the bend
