Bound to the past
By the absence of closure
Sitting at a crossroads
Between confusion and fear
Wishing on fallen stars
For courage to make amends
Praying to unknown heavens
For strength to overcome
The doors to our future
Are locked and sealed
With the key hanging overhead
Close within our hands reach
Beyond our barriers
Lies peace and tranquility
Where our burdens are lifted
And the path to happiness
Is free of restraints
