all his life he had found death in every small destination
in the hollow of snailshells
the emptiness of a room
in the distance of some laughter
implicit in the tapestry-like richness of everything
hinting that youth was an opulance
was the sense that there was nothing beyond it
his childhood was blessed
and she knew,
without knowing what it meant,
she would not be able to follow him
he died silently
she dreamt that night
the night he went
that she was breathing,waiting underwater
but he sank past her
depths swallowed his form
and she could not follow him

Those last three lines made me focus the most. They were the focal point of the piece, and I really enjoyed them.
