Inner-Softness

I see you there across the way,
Your hands upon your hips
And that smirk upon your lips,
The loud voice
And the rooster's crest
Ready for a fight
If it suits you best

Yet, I cannot help but smile soft
'Twas yestereve I held you close
Yestereve I kissed you sweet,
And yestereve you purred content
Simply to be held

And I cannot help but to recall
The smiles we have shared
The hugs and cuddles
Which you like best -
My dearest gentle soul...

This gets to the heart of "intimacy"...
knowing those you hold, their tendencies
to keep certain softer shades in secrecy.
    Pleasure to read, Blue

    lovely and beautiful
it reminds me that we should always try to look beyond how someone is acting on one certain day, or else we truly can not say that we know that person well. We should always try to see the tender side of a persons individual personality.

    Again beautiful and sublime
