Lost in this world
Just drifting away
Trying to find my place
As I start to fade Grey
The wind blows me around
Moving me from place to place
Lost from the stem of life
With no beauty of the vase
Others come and go in my life
Shining their bright red
They all are set in their ways
As I still follow the path ahead
When will my journey end
When will I know where I'm to be
Will I just be a lonely petal
Floating away to misery

Wonderful write Mindie. So many times it seems like you have come close to giving up on what life has in store for you. However the inner hopes and beauty of your heart show through! "When will my journey end When will I know where I'm to be" You still have the courage to ask and wonder as opposed to just giving up. Nice work!!

I could really feel true emotion in this, from myself too. I know that wondering aimlessly feeling, you described it so well.
