Oh why does everything
seem so hopeless all the time?
Nothing seems to go right
It seems like just yesterday everything
was so much better!
I remember every flower blooming even
even as I played with the dog and
most of all I had many good hopes for
the coming future and no reason to frown
then my love ran away to another state for
someone else

quickly soars the time
season after season
overloaded with happiness then tears
what words of wisdom can anyone give?
What words can help ? Is there any hope for

This was written, during a very sad time in my life. To lose a lover, in any way, is never easy. She and I had good rightful plans. Then she betrayed me. I wont go into specifics.

thank you for this poem. I can relate to it alot because one of my exes in a way did that exactly, he messed with my mind then left me for a girl who lives in iowa. ( i live in cali and so does he still) i know what it feels like though. thank you for writing.
