Streaking stars across the sky
bring magic wishes to my eye
of all the thoughts that one could do
if only wishes did come true.
Peace on the earth for all mankind
and cruelty we wouldn’t find
no hunger, fear or hate in sight
but only love would shine its light.
No wars among our human race
our colors would be all one face
the falling stars we see at night
would light the way for futures bright.

I know this is short and simple, but it was my thoughts on this. If I can come up with a long, magical write before your contest ends, I will re-enter.
